The processing of gold ore at STAMIGOLD Biharamulo Mine begins with the receipt of ore from the mine and ends with the production of doré for shipment to a refinery and with tailings, which are disposed of in a tailings impoundment. The STAMIGOLD plant is designed to process run-of-mine (ROM) ore from the SBM ore bodies up to a capacity of 500,000 tonnes per annum.

The planned processing methodology is metallurgically simple and conventional involving proven crushing and milling techniques with carbon-in-leach gold extraction planned to deliver robust gold recoveries of 91% of the ore.

STAMIGOLD gets its electricity needs from the National Electricity Supply Grid (TANESCO) and has three emergency Electricity (one ................... kVA generator diesel powered).
